I made this cleaner spray and although it did a pretty good job at cleaning, it left streaks on every surface I used it on. I’ll go back to commercial cleaners or look for a better DIY formula. Thank you, though!

I have been handling Lye for many years for many different "Projects"(Cleaning and so on), and i learned to use a 50/50 mix of Vinegar and Water(Stronger is better) to simply Spray on my hands as soon as i got lye on them as it INSTANTLY neutralizes it getting rid of that "slippery" feeling because of lye still present in the top layer of the skin Saponifying the natural oils present(human soap?). As soon as the Acetic acid in the vinegar comes into contact with lye it instantly transforms it into harmless Sodium Acetate and you are good to Go. It's absolutely the perfect safety measure to have besides Googles. If you get lye on your clothes, just spray the spot and it's fine. Cheers 🙂😇

1 questions if you can answer.. in the SoapCalc one part was Iodine and INS.. what that means.. coz your soap oil blend is leading higher Iodine in the print sheet (max range was 70 but your soap has 75)

Can you use a different oil besides canola oil?

Ahhh I was hoping for a homemade recipe that does not include 'citric acid', which actually is black mould, and the very reason we want to make our own. There are gov documents that show you the real truth of citric acid. Only 1% of the world's citric acid actually comes from citrus fruits sadly 😥 My son is highly allergic to mould so we avoid everything with citric acid (which is basically 80% of the supermarket stores)

I have made this 100% rye bread a couple of times. Have been very happy with it -- but after just a couple of days after taking a few slices out of the freezer it starts to get covered with tiny but very obvious white dots. Do you know if that is mold? Or yeast? Or something else?
